5 World Records Breaked by Cristiano Ronaldo, Number 1 Top Scorer of All Time

Rp_News88..CRISTIANO RONALDO  continues to attract worldwide attention because of the various achievements he has made.  Like wine, Cristiano Ronaldo is able to appear better with age.

Noted there are various world records that have been inscribed by Ronaldo.  So far these records are still controlled by the Manchester United player because no other player has been able to pass his record.  So what are these records?

Here are 5 world records that were broken by Cristiano Ronaldo

5. Longest consecutive goalscoring record in the Champions League

Ronaldo is one of the most successful players in the Champions League.  His best achievement is of course while still defending Real Madrid, where he managed to bring home two trophies from the most prestigious European club event.

Various records were successfully broken by Ronaldo in his attempt to win the Big Ear trophy.  One of the most famous is scoring in 11 consecutive Champions League appearance

So far, the record of 11 goals in a row in the Champions League has not been matched.  He set that record between the 2016-17 and 2017-18 Champions League campaigns.  The 37-year-old mainstay player then took home the trophy on both occasions.

4. Most Champions League goalscorers

Ronaldo is the scariest goalscoring machine in the history of world football. Evidenced by his status as the top scorer in the Champions League with a collection of 150 goals.

Ronaldo is 15 goals ahead of Lionel Messi (Paris Saint-Germain) who is second on the list. That distance can increase because Ronaldo will play for Man United against Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League last 16 2021-2022.

3. Oldest Hat-trick Scorer in the World Cup

At the 2018 World Cup, Ronaldo managed to score a hat trick while defending the Portugal national team. Something that would have been difficult to do in a major competition, especially since he was 33 at the time.

No wonder his three-goal record against Spain then made Ronaldo the oldest hat-trick scorer in the World Cup.

2. Top international goalscorer of all time

For nearly two decades, Ronaldo led the line for Portugal national team and has contributed many times.

However, in October 2021, Ronaldo was rewarded for his dedication by becoming the all-time leading international goalscorer.

The record-breaking forward scored in a World Cup qualifier against the Republic of Ireland to break Ali Daei's record of 109 goals.

The Manchester United superstar now has 115 international goals, a world record that will be very difficult to break for the next generation.

1. FIFA's All-Time Top Scorer

For almost 17 years, Ronaldo has scored goals at club and national level. Every time he steps off the pitch, he has an incomparable hunger and desire to score goals.

This goal-scoring passion paid off recently as he became the all-time leading goalscorer in football history. His hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday took him to 806 career goals, thus surpassing Josef Bican's 805.

This is probably the best world record Ronaldo has ever held. Because you could say that record is the highest achievement for every individual in the game.

Now Ronaldo could retire in a few years confident that few will surpass his goalscoring record.
