"We can confirm that a 37-year-old man voluntarily attended and was questioned under warning in connection with charges of assault and criminal trespass," a Marseyside Police statement said.


"The allegation relates to an incident following the Everton vs Manchester United football match at Goodison Park on Saturday 9 April. This matter has been dealt with by means of Conditional Cautions. The matter has now been resolved," the statement continued.
