Lyon vs PSG: Neymar helps Messi

Neymar again made a real contribution in the match week 8 of Ligue 1 aka French League 2022-2023 between Lyon vs PSG at Groupama Stadium, Monday (19/9/2022).

The brilliant Brazilian striker orchestrated the only goal of PSG's victory over Lyon, which was scored by Lionel Messi.
Neymar's pass paved the way for Messi to find the net against Lyon in the 5th minute and seal PSG's 1-0 win.
Opta noted that throughout this season Neymar and Messi have assisted each other a total of five times.

"It was he (Neymar) who provided the best balance," said PSG coach Christophe Galtier after the Lyon vs PSG match, as reported by RMC Sport.
"He has quality, intensity and is generous with the team. He's a great entertainer," Galtier said of Neymar.
"Obviously in a game like this, great players have to stand out, like Ney and Lionel (Messi) tonight who played well."

This season, Neymar has shown great performance with PSG. In 11 matches in all competitions, the Santos dropout has a total of 11 goals and 8 assists!
